RomanoxReader Go Out With Me?

Romano

             You unlock your phone to find that you got a message from the grumpy Italian, Romano.


              "(Name)!!!" The text started. "Antonio is being one hell of a bastardo!!! It's time to harvest the tomatoes but he won't help. Now you have to get your butt over here and help me!" You sighed looking at the phone for a second, deciding if you would listen to Romano's demand or not. Hopping out of bed, you decided to help your crush, in order to spend time with him.

                 "Where the hell have you been?" Romano exclaimed as soon as you entered his tomato fields. You sighed taking out your phone and looking at the time.

                  "It's only been twenty minutes since you texted me" you stated calmly.

                "Twenty minutes of my poor tomatoes being fried in the sun" you said. He then grabbed your arm, dragging you out to the fields. Picking a row, he drew a line in the middle and shoved you to the left side.  "You take on the left side."

                 "Why don't we both do a side together" you said, confused on why he had divided the row.

                "No" he growled. "You have to take the left side." As he turned to start picking tomatoes, you thought you saw a slight blush dance across his face. You shrugged and began to gently pick the ripe tomatoes.

                "Why won't Antonio help you?" You ask curiously. Antonio was usually happy to find any way to help Romano.

                "W-who knows what that bastardo was thinking" Romano stuttered. You were about to ask why Romano was suddenly nervous, when you felt a soft texture in the tomato plant. Confused you grabbed the object, and brought it close to yourself, so you could inspect it.

                "Is this a stuffed tomato plushie?" You muttered. The object was the same size and shape as a tomato, but it had the texture of a stuffed animal. As you inspected it, you came across writing on the back.

                "Go out with me (Name)?" It read. You read it over and over again before the words sank in.

                "Why did you get so quie-" Romano started, until he saw the tomato plushie. You watch his face turn a red that put his tomatoes to shame. "You found it." He refused to meet your eyes and he turned around.

                  "Romano" you murmured, smiling. You walked to him and hugged his back. "Yes, I'll go out with you." You allowed him to turn to face you and he finally meet your eyes.

                  "You mean it?" He asked a real smile on his face.

                  "Of course I do you idiot" you said kissing his cheek.

                   "Look at my little Romano!!!" Antonio exclaimed in a tree not to far from where you and Romano stood. "I told you, (Name) would come if you told her I couldn't help you!!! He's growing up!!!" Quickly pulling out a camera, he took a photo of you kissing Romano's cheek. "I can't wait to show these love birds to everyone!!!!"
